COMMENTARY
After the crucifixion, death and burial of Christ, the enemies of the cross were still not satisfied. They remembered that Jesus promised to resurrect on the third day and thought to stop it.
Thus they worked out a plan to prevent Christ’s resurrection by approaching and convincing Pilate to have the tomb sealed.
Pilate granted the permissions and they sealed the tomb of Christ.
However, on the third day and as promised by Jesus before his death. Christ was resurrected from the dead. The Scripture records that prior to the resurrection of Christ, a great earthquake suddenly happened.
Then an angel of the Lord came down and rolled aside the big stone with which the tomb was sealed and sat on it.
The guards who were posted to protect the tomb and prevent Jesus’ body from being stolen by his disciples shook in fear and fell into dead faint.
Christ must rise from the dead. No power, big stone, guard, sealed tomb or anything else would prevent His rising.
Similarly, no big stone, no matter how big, will prevent your rising. God is ready and very capable to roll aside any obstacle standing in your way, or any challenge about to stand in your way. Nothing can stop God’s will from fulfilling in your life.
Therefore, do not be shaken by the Egyptians chartering against you. Be not perturbed, Jehovah shall throw aside every devil on your path. Your rising and manifestation cannot be stopped.
CONTROLLING THOUGHTS
Be not perturbed; Jehovah shall roll aside every devil on your path: your rising cannot be stopped. Amen
PRAYER Dear Lord, please roll aside every obstacle in my path in Jesus’ name. Amen!
