I will also advise that you should not use any of thew passwords that you see here directly. You can use that as a guide to form your own password.

#1. Use a Password That’s At Least 12 Characters

Length is the true king of security. You need to know that Short passwords fall fast to brute-force attacks, but anything above 12 characters becomes significantly harder to crack.You must ensure that you password is as long as possible.The longer , the better.

#2. Mix Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers, and Symbols

When it comes to setting passwords, variety actually makes the food sweet. You should not be restricted to your Date of birth or those crappy 12345678 alone. You need to know that variety makes your password unpredictable.Miss capital letters, with small letter , numbers and special characters. A strong one might look like: T!gerDr!ve2025

#3. Avoid Obvious Personal Information

There are many of us that forms passwords with what we can easily remember because we are afraid that we might forget the password. This is a very bad habit. Besides English words, you should not use your birthday or your husband birthday as password or pins.  Do not use pet names or name of celebrities as passwords.

Please understand that Cyber attackers know these tricks too, and they’re the first things they try.

#4. Use Passphrases Instead of Single Words

When it comes to creating passwords, there are some English words that you can use and you will still feel safe. You can make use of Paraphrase as passwords.This can be mixed with special characters in order to make it stronger.Passphrases are long, easy to remember, and hard to crack.

#6. Never Reuse the Same Password Across Different Accounts

If one platform gets hacked, all your other accounts become exposed.
Make every major account unique — email, banking, social media, cloud storage. You should avoid a situation where you will have to use one password across different accounts because you cannot manage multiple passwords.

#7. Use a Password Manager to Keep Things Simple

Password managers generate strong passwords and remember them for you.You need to know that it is dangerous to use one password for many accounts. The reason being that once hackers have access to that password,they will have access to all your accounts. Instead of that, you can use a Password Manager to keep all your Passwords in one place.
Examples:

* 1Password
* Bitwarden
* LastPass
* Dashlane

You only remember one master password — the manager handles the rest.

#8. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Wherever Possible

Even the strongest password can be strengthened with 2FA.
Apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator add an extra verification step attackers can’t easily bypass.

#9. Avoid Common Dictionary Words

Hackers use dictionary attacks to guess common words instantly.
Skip passwords like:
`Laptop, Nigeria2024, Qwerty123, IloveGod.

#10. Update Your Passwords Regularly

Especially for accounts like email, banking, business admin panels, and cloud backups.
A periodic refresh reduces the risk of long-term exposure.
