The 10X Rule, popularized by Grant Cardone, is simple: set goals that are 10 times bigger than what you think you can achieve, and take 10 times more action than you believe is necessary. Most project managers set safe, realistic goals. The problem? These goals don’t push the team enough. they feel they are taking calculated risk,s but at times most of these goals does not really inspire them to do more. They might also end up not achieving such goals.

When we talk of thinking bigger, you are actually constraining yourself in order to achieve what you want to achieve. If your target is to deliver in 6 months, think about doing it in 3 months.

Plan for massive effort

Also, If you believe 100 tasks will complete the project, prepare for 1,000 tasks. by doing so, you will actually end up doing more than 100 tasks.

This does not mean being unrealistic, it means planning for challenges and aiming higher so you achieve more than the average manager.

In the order to achieve your 10x goal, You need to hire extra freelancers or add automation tools to speed up delivery. If the required resources is not available within the organization, you have to go for it wherever they are.

#3 Take 10X Action Every Day

When it comes to planning a project, you have to make sure you are taking 10x action daily. To do this, you need to understand that most projects fail because teams take average action. In order to do this, you need to over-communicate. Send daily updates, not weekly. You have to have more than one medium through which you are communicating with your audience.

You also need to over prepare. You must be ready for anything. You must anticipate delays before they happen. If you have a plan for it, you will be able to take action when it eventually happens.

You must also be ready to over deliver. That means you have to go beyond what you promised your target audience. You have to give stakeholders more than what they expect. You may provide extra features, better quality, or faster delivery.
