Matthew 16:18 “I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this Rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. “
Don’t ever dare sit down and fear the devil or any activities of evil people. Don’t even meditate on what the devil or his agents are doing. Don’t cry in any predicament. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the saints. The gates of hell are the authorities in hell; that authority will never prevail against us and the church.
Over the ages, people used by satan have risen in different nations against the saints and the church of God. They want to eliminate the saints and the church. They want to weaken the influence of the church. However, they never prevail. The church is still marching on. The saints are still matching on. The church is still advancing. No one can win against the saints and the church until the end, when the saints are taken from this world.
2Samuel 3:1 “Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.”
Those who oppose the saints and the church of Jesus Christ are like the House of Saul. The saints and church are like the House of David. As long as they want to make war against the true church and saints, they will GROW WEAKER and weaker, whereas we will GROW STRONGER and stronger.
Nebuchadnezzar did it during the days of Daniel Shadrech, Misheck and Abdenego, and it ended in tears for him. Herod did it during the early church to the Apostles and others, and it ended in tears for him. All who tried to do it in the past have ended up in tears. It will also end in tears for all people, leaders of nations and evil perpetrators who are opposing the saints and the church. What the saints and the church need are continuous prayers. As long as we pray, we will continue winning.
Act 12:5 “Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the church to God for him.”
CONFESSION
The church of Jesus Christ is marching on and getting stronger and stronger. The enemies of the church are getting weaker and weaker. We are winning in all nations. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
