Devotion: Refuse to Faint
Ecc 3:1-4 For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Look unto the Word and see how those who went ahead of us responded to situations. You must know that there are difficult times that come and actually as we draw towards the end of age, more difficult times lie ahead. 2Timothy 3:1 “But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come.”
However, what matters is the response. How do we respond to difficulties? Know that even amid difficulties, you should refuse to faint or quit.
Proverbs 24:10 “If you FAINT in the day of adversity, your strength is small.”
In the day of adversity, refuse to faint, refuse to quit, refuse to drop off. Let the Holy Spirit strengthen your Spirit. Allow your inner strength stand to challenges. Eph 3:16 “I pray that he would give you, according to his glorious riches, strength in your inner being and power through his Spirit..”
Find solutions to challenges; no challenge can come to you without a solution. There is a solution which you need to find, apply and see the results. Among the options, quitting shouldn’t appear if whatever you are doing is the right thing.
1Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you that is unusual for human beings. But God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. Instead, along with the temptation he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to endure it.”
CONFESSION
My strength is of the Holy Spirit and therefore I cannot fail in life. I refuse to quit and I am winning now and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
