Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit of all.
🌼This portion of scripture emphasises that the manifestation of the spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. Each of us has been given a unique and distinctive manifestation of the Spirit.
🍁Even though we may be called prophets, apostles, evangelists or teachers. In each class, there is a divine uniqueness of your anointing.
🌼This is what sets you as an individual apart. Not for you to be proud but rather for you to participate in the eternal plan of God.
🍁The reason why many believers seem hidden in terms of their expression is that many have not studied the uniqueness of the character of their anointing. Most try to be a cheap copy of a great original and imitate others.
🌼As much as imitating a man is good, there are boundaries which you cannot extend. A man has to reach a point where they discovers who they are and then learn to imitate God.
📖 Scripture: I Corinthians 11:1 NKJV- Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.”
🍁The glory that separates your voice from others comes from finding yourself in God.
Even though your expressions may be similar to someone else’s, there should be a unique print that defines you beyond what has been passed over to you.
🌼Without understanding the uniqueness of your anointing, you will not make a mark in this world. Some people touch the world and those who change the world. God has called us to change the world.
🍁The character of your individual anointing is how God moves through you, how He speaks to you and how God expresses Himself through you.
📖 Scripture: 1 Kings 19:11-12 KJV- We notice that with Elijah he came through a still small voice.
📖 Scripture: Exodus 3:4 KJV- To Moses, He came through a Burning bush. If Elijah had pursued Moses’ experience, he would have missed God. With Elijah, there was a fire, but even when he turned, there was no God in the fire.
🌼If Moses had built a doctrine on the still voice, Moses would have missed God in the fire. The Bible speaks of how Moses turned to see the fire. This is very important because Moses turned.
🍁For Paul, there was a blinding of the eyes because God wanted to open to Him a realm of sight as the master builder of the foundation of the gospel (1 Corinthians 3:10).
💥FIVE REASONS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THE CHARACTER OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL ANOINTING💥
🎯 It helps you understand the purposes of God in your life. A man who doesn’t understand the uniqueness of their anointing will struggle to discern and fulfil the purposes of God upon their life.
🌼When a man understands the character of anointing, there is clarity, and they have a clear purpose for their life.
One ought to know how the anointing in their life is expressed. If you can find this, it is to point to one’s purpose.
🍁There are people who confuse burden for assignment. Sometimes the burden God lays on your life could be your assignment, but there are situations where deception can creep in and you confuse the burden for a purpose. The grace to know the difference is found in seeking the Father.
🌼Paul was burdened for the Jews, but that was not his purpose (Romans 9:3). The Grace that was given to Paul was to the Gentiles (Galatians 2:9).
🎯You will become effective or competent in ministry. The reason people are drained or struggle in ministry is that they have not discovered the uniqueness of the character of their anointing.
🍁When you are ignorant of your uniqueness, the anointing on you is frustrated and it cannot even reach the people whom you are supposed to touch.
🌼This is why most men start things and they give up. It is not the will of God for you to build something and it fails ( 2 John 1:8).
The reward from God is full, not only because of what you have done for him, but in the wisdom to know how to keep what you have built. Increase and multiplication come from adding to what you have already kept.
🍁For you to have influence, there must be a distinction (1 Corinthians 14:7). This is the power and wisdom of what is expressed in a vessel.
🌼It’s not enough to carry a title. What is the substance in you? If you are to find this distinction it cannot be found without the uniqueness of the character of your anointing.
🍁The reason why many voices die out before full expression is that they never discovered their uniqueness.
🌼The place of discomfort without any form of lust or carnal desires means that God has called you for something higher than that. The heart never lies ( Ecclesiastes 3:11).
💥There is a place where the desires of a man are the desires of God. Being separated in God means that one is given a new sound.
🍁The very God who created people knows how they think . God did not create predictable of mediocre.
🔥EVERYONE HAS A UNIQUE PRINT. YOU JUST HAVE TO FIND YOURS.
🌼This is the reason why he says you are the head. You are the light of the world, you are the salt of the earth.
🔥Refuse to be mediocre: YOU ARE SPECIAL
🍁Wherever you are, you are a magnet. It doesn’t matter where you are, the world turns to you (Acts 6:10).
🎯 It helps you interpret your rank and to operate in the authority that God has placed on your life.
🌼We are all ranked differently depending on our application in the things of God. In 1 Corinthians 15:41
God appoints all of us, and it is up to us to grow in rank.
Jesus was born God but he had to grow in wisdom and in capacity.
🍁Understanding the character of your anointing helps boost your confidence and helps you understand the boldness of the spirit according to the authority by which you are functioning in God.
🌼It is one thing to speak from human effort, and it’s another thing to speak from divine alignment and the place that holds in God.
🍁Freedom in God is very important. If there is a man by whom their demise leads to a demise in your life, then you are not free.
🌼Paul is an example of freedom. He has the power and anointing to have everything but he was mature enough to not let anything govern him.
🍁This was a man who would say things and God was okay with them. He had an understanding of the anointing on his life and he had the authority. Paul understood his anointing and what he could do with it.
📖 Scripture:I Corinthians 9:1-2 NKJV- Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.”
🌼When you learn and understand your ranking in God, some things will not scare you. You should know your place with God.
🍁Most people have been frustrated by spirits of fear and torment because they don’t know their place with God (Isaiah 10:27).
🌼There are certain levels that once passed, you can never go back. This is a place of dwelling but it has a lot to do with the character of your anointing.
🎯The character of your anointing positions you in the body and hence the unity that is necessary in the body.
The reason we see so much division is that some are not yet defined
📖 Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:27 AMP- “Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function].”
🍁Because some people are not defined, some parts of the body do not contribute. Because of this, we then see some parts that carry the burdens of others that have left a gap.
🌼In some instances, we have those who admire certain graces and are not comfortable with what they carry uniquely.
🍁The body is at its most functional if every part is contributing. As long as people stay at the level of fan base, the body of Christ will never be complete in function as it ought to be.
🎯 It tames your spirit to a particular discipline. Every man who knows the uniqueness of their character of anointing has a certain discipline.
📝For example we see that Samson was not to cut his hair off.
🌼Some of these disciplines are not for everybody but for that particular person. There is a generic discipline for all believers but some will be personal (Acts 24:16).
💥HOW TO DISCERN THE CHARACTER OF YOUR ANOINTING/UNCTION💥
🎯 You must be a student of the word. It is important to invest yourself in the way of the word. It is from the revelation of truth that expressions come.
Unless you are founded in the word of truth, you risk opening up to familiar spirits. In studying the world, we have to take three things into consideration.
- The place of meditation
- The mystery of contemplation
- The power of confession
🍁It is impossible to fully apprehend the character of your anointing when you don’t know how to speak right
🎯The place of prayer. This is the one world that we cannot escape. There is no man with a secret of God who does not have an altar with God – Jeremiah 29:13
🌼Pray with all your heart. When you do this, you can find God and this is not exclusive to apostles or prophets or evangelists. This applies to everyone.
🍁Give yourself fully to God and you will find him.
Everyone who has given their heart fully to God knows the ways of the Spirit. They have answers beyond what language can articulate.
🌼There is no mistake in the spirit. God will pursue people who have enough space for him. People who seem ignorant. Those are not filled with human wisdom and knowledge.
🎯Obedient and Faithful in the little. Everyone wants to start with much and at the forefront. Some people feel like the little is demeaning. But if only we are humble enough to check the heart of God, then he will reveal to us what we missed.
🍁Many people are seeking the vindication of men rather than the vindication of God. The title and appointments of men do not matter. These are men who bear glories that they should not carry but without the substance of that role (Jeremiah 10:15).
🌼People who are not obedient and faithful in the little will always find other people to blame for their misfortune and challenges. The people carry the delusion that they are supposed to be far above in places that they don’t have the discipline for.
🍁These are the same people who will give constructive criticism for things which they have not built.
Don’t take constructive criticism from a man who has not constructed the realm they are instructing you in.
🌼The small things that seem insignificant have a way of constructing you in the character of God.
There is a correlation with how you deal with a person lower than you and how you enter your next level (Luke 16:10).
🍁David even when anointed as King was obedient to Saul . Playing a harp to refresh Saul . The anointing to take David to the throne was through sonship and it’s not until Saul acknowledges him that the Office of kingship is transferred to him . David wouldn’t be king unless he understood the concept of son ship and thrones (1 Samuel 24:20).
🌼It was after David was king that Samuel dies . His mandate was to ensure this appointment and we see that in chapter 25 , he dies . Samuel is a voice of instruction to the faithful in the little .
🔥BE FAITHFUL IN THE LITTLE
🎯Consider your Passions and burdens . Study the things that draw you and captivate you . Ask your self why certain things make you feel a certain way . Sometimes where your burdens and passions are is a call to a mandate on your life .
🎯 Be sensitive . Cultivate a sensitivity to the person of the HolySpirit . Once you do this , you will be amazed at how the uniqueness of your anointing will be expressed .
🍁The person of the spirit reveals the heart of God . Be sensitive even to the smallest convictions . There is a connection to the small matters and the big matters . There is a connection to the compassion Jesus had for the sick and the woman who got healed from touching the hem of his garment . Small things change a lot .
🌼When you are sensitive to the Holyspirit, you won’t miss God . Let him instruct you even in the smallest details of your life .
