Blogger Content Calendar Template
There are many Content Creators that faced content draught because they failed to plan ahead or do not have a content plan..That is why I am creating this Content Calendar Template for Bloggers that will assist content creators in publishing contents across all social media platforms.
Here are some facts that you need to put into consideration when you need to create a content calendar for yourself or your organisations. Feel free to adjust it to suit your own schedule.
Columns / Fields to Include:
- Date / Publish Date – When the blog post goes live.
- Day of the Week – Helps you stay consistent.
- Blog Post Title / Topic – Main subject of the article.
- Keyword / SEO Focus – Primary keyword or phrase for SEO.
- Category / Niche – E.g., Tech, Lifestyle, Business, Fashion.
- Content Type – Blog, Listicle, How-to, Review, Case Study, Interview.
- Target Audience / Persona – Who you’re writing for.
- Stage in Funnel – Awareness, Consideration, Decision.
- Draft Deadline – When the first draft should be done.
- Final Edit / Proofreading Date – Quality check before publishing.
- Publishing Platform – Website, Medium, LinkedIn, etc.
- Promotion Channels – Social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Threads), Newsletter, etc.
- Content Status – Idea, Research, Writing, Editing, Scheduled, Published.
- CTA / Goal – Newsletter sign-up, product purchase, social share, backlink attraction.
- Notes – Extra details, references, or collaborators.

Pro Tips for Use:
- Plan monthly themes (e.g., “SEO month”, “Content strategy month”).
- Batch tasks (research all at once, then draft, then edit).
- Color-code status for quick visualization.
- Repurpose posts into reels, tweets, carousels, or newsletters.
