Opening Prayer: Father, open my heart to understand righteous living.
Previous Knowledge: The Teacher should review the lesson from the previous week.
Memory Verse: “The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger”– Job 17:9.
Bible Passage: Phil. 4:8-9.
Lesson Introduction
Some people think that it is not possible to live righteously in this perverse world. However, the Bible admonishes believers in Christ to make righteousness a way of life (Phil. 4:8-9). God instructed Abram to walk uprightly (Gen. 17:1). just as Job admitted that if anyone continues on the way of righteousness, their lives will get better and shine brighter (Job 17:9; Prov. 4:18). It is, therefore, important for us to understand what it means to live a righteous life and its attendant benefit.
Lesson Aim: To Teach the students about the means to live righteously and its benefits.
