There is always arguments around professional certifications and exam, but as a 10x Business Analyst, you have no option here. You have to stay updated with Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA among others.

 

You also need to learn Agile, Scrum, and Product Management frameworks. This is because Business Analysis itself is a project. You cannot do without having knowledge of Project Management. 

 

You also need to build Network  relationships with other Business Analyst. There is a need for you to share insights and learn industry trends in order to know what you need to do at any given time.
