Creating an account and browsing courses is free. Full course access requires a subscription. Internship task training is 100% free — you only pay a small exam fee per task (see the Internship Tasks section below).

It is where you apply what you have learned to real, graded internship-style tasks across tracks like Programming, Cyber Security, Data Analysis, Project Management, DevOps, UI/UX Design, Digital Marketing, Robotics, Data Science, ITIL, Agile and Scrum. Completing tasks earns you XP, badges, and a place on the Leaderboard.

Each task has a description, a time limit, and a maximum number of attempts (shown as dots on the task card). Submit your work before time runs out; tasks are graded automatically or reviewed by an admin, and your result — plus XP earned — appears in your Achievements page once grading is complete.

Tasks run in 90-day seasons managed by the CRMNuggets team. You can be active in up to 2 task categories/tracks per season. At the end of each season, the top performers are inducted into the permanent Hall of Fame.

A task locks once you have used all of its allowed attempts, or once its time limit has expired. Attempt limits are set per task by the admin team and shown on the task card.

Yes — for course exams, you must finish all lessons in a course before the exam unlocks. Internship tasks are separate from course exams and can be attempted once you have the relevant track skills.

The CRMNuggets Tech Scholarship rewards students who complete 10 tech courses within 3 months, top the season Leaderboard, and actively participate in internship tasks. Staying active in the Internship Task section is one of the core ways to qualify.

Practice Tools are hands-on, in-browser simulators for real tools used on the job — including a Kali terminal, an Nmap simulator, SEToolkit, Wireshark, John the Ripper, OSSEC, Maltego, a code sandbox, PowerShell (Under the Wire), Wokwi robotics, Azure/AWS console and CLI simulators, project-management tools like ClickUp/OpenProject/GanttProject/Taskade, and data tools like DataLab, Tableau Public, CODAP and a NumPy simulator.

Yes. Training on Practice Tools is 100% free — no payment is required to use the simulators themselves. You only pay for course exams, not for practice.

You need a free CRMNuggets account to be logged in, but the tools themselves don't require a paid subscription — they are open training environments so you can build real, verifiable experience before attempting graded tasks.

Yes. Simulators like the Nmap and SEToolkit tools let you save a live project session. You can keep it private, generate a public share link, or email it to a recruiter/employer directly from the tool.

Practice Tools are for risk-free rehearsal — use them to build confidence with a tool before attempting a graded internship task in the same track. They do not count toward task attempts or XP on their own.

During an active season, ranking is based on the number of tasks completed, then total XP as a tiebreaker, then streak days. Outside an active season, the Leaderboard falls back to all-time XP.

A live preview of the top performers is shown publicly right here on the homepage for transparency. The full, real-time Leaderboard with streaks and rankings is available to signed-in students in the sidebar.

At the end of every season, the top 5 interns are permanently snapshotted into the Hall of Fame with a badge title (Gold Intern, Silver Intern, Bronze Intern, Elite Intern, Star Intern). Unlike the live Leaderboard, Hall of Fame rankings never change once a season is finalised.

Complete 10 tech courses within 3 months, place among the top of the season Leaderboard, and stay actively involved in internship tasks. Three winners are selected every season (every 3 months) and have their school fees paid from 100 Level to 400 Level, plus a ₦20,000 monthly feeding allowance.

Pass a course exam with a score of 70% or above. Your certificate generates automatically and appears under Certificates in your sidebar, with a downloadable Open Badge for LinkedIn.
