10 Attributes Of Emerging Entrepreneural Venture

10 Attributes Of Emerging Entrepreneural Venture (With Practical Examples).

In my previous article, I have talked about all that you need to know about how you can become an entrepreneur and be your own boss. In this article, I want to look at some of the common attributes of emerging Entrepreneurial ventures. Follow me as we are going to look at that together in this article.

#1 Result oriented

A good entrepreneur will always focus on results. He will always highly his vision, focus on what customers want and plan on how he will be able to achieve those goals that he has set when he was starting out as an entrepreneur.

#2 Task culture with a flat structure

Another major fact about entrepreneurs I’d that they are always task-focused and has a flat structure. At times, when they are starting out, they are almost the ones doing everything. Their aim is to complete all the tasks that he has set for themselves.

#3 Development of new ideas

Also, Entrepreneurial ventures always encourage the development of new ideas.

As an entrepreneur that wants to succeed, he needs to bring diverse brains together in order to achieve corporate goals. He will always welcome different calibre of people that will be able to help him to succeed.

#4 Continuous innovation

Another thing that you can not take away from entrepreneurs is that they continue to evolve.

A good entrepreneur will always look for ways of doing things in a better way by creating what is not existing before or packaging it in a better way. They are always ready to explore new opportunities.

#5 High uncertainty

Another major issue with new Entrepreneurial ventures is that there is a high-level às far as the business venture is concerned.

The so-called new business owner is not even sure whether the business venture will succeed or not. It was even discovered according to research that most of the new business ventures failed in the first five years of establishment.

#6 Risk-taking

Another issue that you need to know about emerging Entrepreneurial ventures is that there is a high level of risk-taking.

There is always little tolerance for failure and persistent trial in the organisation. Sone of these new business owners always fails because they are always afraid of taking risks.

#7 Visionary and persistent leadership

Another fact that you need to know about entrepreneurs is that they are always visionary and they are very persistent in their vision.

They have goals that they have set to achieve and they always put together all the resources that they needed in order for them to succeed.

Whether they will succeed or not now has to do with their ability to use available resources to achieve their goals.

#8 Long time horizon for growth and expansion

You also need the knowledge that entrepreneurs always follow a long lope to success.

They need to understand that they have to pass through many upheavals on their way to success and they are ready to weather the storm in order for them to succeed. Amazingly, not all of them always get to the end of the rope.

#9 Organic organisation

You also need to know that entrepreneurs have an organic organisation that is wired up for change. Unlike big corporations where there are procedures for making changes.

It is always very easy for the owners to quickly adjust and change some practical steps in order to adapt to new situations. This allows the organisation to progress steadily towards attaining its goals.

 #10 Reward

Good entrepreneurs need to also understand the concept of ” the higher the risk, the higher the reward”.

They need to know that the best time to take risk is the time that everyone is running away from risk.

Entrepreneurs have developed a system that is based on performance and results. If you failed to perform, then you have no reward.

Contributions of Francis Walter To Entrepreneurial Development

In my previous article, I have talked about the contributions of Richard Cantillon to Entrepreneurial Development. Now I want to look at some of the major contributions of Francis Walter to Entrepreneurial Development. Follow me as we are going to consider that together in this article.

His Contributions

In the late 19th century, Francis Walter also differentiated between those who supplied funds and received interest and those that provided management and receive profit.

This distinction was as a result of the increasing industrialization of the 19th century.

At the beginning of the 20th century, entrepreneurs were viewed mainly from an economic perspective.

The entrepreneur was regarded as an organiser who starts and operates an enterprise in expectation of reward of profit and equally bears the risk of making a loss.

The work of undertaking risk in expectation of profit is referred to as an ‘enterprise’ and the provision of capital is referred to as ‘financing’.

The famous economist John Stuart Mill in his 1948 Classic, ‘ The Principle Of Political Economy’ also popularised the ideas of the entrepreneur as an organiser who assumes the risk of a business in return for profit.

Before the industrial revolution in England, production was carried out on a small scale and usually in cottage industries.

There was no distinction between enterprise and management. With the invention of heavy machinery and the emergence of large industrial undertakings, joint-stock company ownership from control, that is, the separation of shareholders and directors.

Hence, a separation was made between enterprise and management.

The shareholders bear the risk and get the reward of ownership.

Enterprise relates to shareholders. In most organisations,  the actual work of management is done by paid managers or appointed directors. The entrepreneur is not a paid manager: he or she performs the task of risk-taking and provides general leadership.

The directors perform the work of corporate management.

However, in small scale businesses, it is difficult to separate the functions of the entrepreneur and that of the organiser or manager. These functions are performed by the same person, the small business owner.

One of the very first things you need to secure is your hardware. You need to make sure that your devices are kept away from the prying eyes of thieves. There is a need for you to also identify your software and enumerate them. You need to make sure that anti-virus are installed and they are updated regulated. You have to make that it is only lawful users that are able to access your software at. any point in time.

#3 Information

Another major component that you need to secure is your personal information. This includes your login details such as your password, social security number, national identity number as well as other personal information that can give hackers access to your account.

Examining Home Computers Vulnerabilities: How It Can Be Addressed

Examining Home Computers Vulnerabilities: How It Can Be Addressed

In my previous article, I have talked about some of the facts that you need to know about layers of computer security. In this article, I want to talk about some of the actions that make home computers vulnerable.

#1 Low-level security awareness

One of the reasons why home users are open to attacks is because of they little or no knowledge about computer security.

They do not know what they actually need to do in order to secure their devices. This allows hackers and crackers to take undue advantage of them.

#2 Default settings

Another mistake that opens home users to attacks is that they always retain default computer settings.

A new device will not have a password or fingerprints. It has a simple password which hackers can guess easily. If you fail to change these default settings, you are setting yourself up for more attacks.

#3 Increasing online activities

Another problem with home users is that they are always careless when they are online.

What they forget is that when they are online, they are connected to a network of networks. They are open to more attacks and some of them are even surfing the internet without having good anti-virus software.

#4 Little or no investment

There are many home users that always find it difficult to invest in Security.

They want everything absolutely free. Some cannot even afford to spend at least $10 to bit a good antivirus.

The first thing they will finish to go online and be looking for free antivirus. They ended up downloading Trojan horses.

#5 Not following security policies

Another major problem is that most home users always fail to follow standard security policies and procedures.

When home users fail to follow simple security measures that should have kept them away from troubles, they will end up entering into more troubles.

Guaranteeing System Security: Practical Steps To Follow

In my previous articles, I have talked about some of the steps that you can follow in order to secure your devices. In this article, I want to talk about four major actions that can guarantees system security. Follow me as we are going to look at that together in this article.

Here are the steps to take…

#1 System access control

First and foremost, you need to make sure that it is only authorised users that can have access to devices.

The users need to access devices based on what they have or what they do not have. This will reduce unauthorised users.

Also, you need to ensure that authorised users comply with security measures that you have put in place.

An average employee will not always want to comply but you have to make sure that the system is configured in such a way that system will force them to comply with measures that you have put in place.

#2 Data access controls

There is a need for you to keep a close eye on organisational data that are available at your disposal.

You need to understand who is accessing organisational data and for what purpose are they carrying out such activity.

You also need to define access levels based on the roles that every individual are expected to perform. You have to make sure no single individual have access to all aspect of the data.

Nobody should be given access more than what they need to perform their roles.

#3 System and Security Administration

You also have to perform system and security administration such as configuring system settings, implementing security policies as well as monitoring system states among others in order to be sure that intruders cannot have access to organisational resources.

#4 System Design

This has to do with the development of various aspects of system designs for the security architecture.

It covers hardware and software design such as memory segmentation, privilege isolation among other features.

How Blogs Can Complement Websites: A Practical Guide.

How Blogs Can Complement Websites: A Practical Guide.

As you will find out later on, blogging brings many benefits to a business. One of the main reasons for blogging as a business is to provide more information to your potential customers.

The company website provides information to all of the visitors, but this content is more static and general. Therefore, a blog is a perfect way to complement your website with more information and content that is more dynamic, which means it is regularly updated. A blog also allows you to implement an abundance of keyword-rich materials which is an ideal way to attract relevant search engine queries and position your blog among the top search engine results.

The content that can complement your website include:
• How-to articles
• Guides
• Product details and specification
• Product introduction
• Product comparison
• Demonstration of product features

• Information about the events you are organizing/participating in
• Company news and updates

Besides more information about products and product usage, the main distinction a blog can bring to your website is personalization. While website content is more across-the-board, blogging can bring that level of personalization necessary to create a bond with your visitors.

Using the status of an individual as a blog author can help you create content which is more individualized and targeted at specific visitors within your target group.

The bottom line is that blogging is a part of your business and it has a specific role in online marketing. As you will discover later on in this ebook, it is essential that blogging becomes a part of the overall planning, to be incorporated and coordinated with other segments of your business, to ensure the highest performance.

Service Offering In ITIL 4: Improving Service Delivery To Customers

Shocking Facts About Service Offering In ITIL 4

In my previous article, I talked about some of the major differences between ITIL Version 3 and ITIL 4. In this article, I want to talk about all that you need to know about service offerings in ITIL 4. Follow me as we are going to look at that together in this article.

In my previous article, I talked about some of the major differences between ITIL Version 3 and ITIL 4. In this article, I want to talk about all that you need to know about service offering in ITIL 4. Follow me as we are going to look at that together in this article.

A Service Offering is a description of one or more services designed to address the need of a target customer group. It may include goods, access to resources as well as well service actions.

#1 Goods

In this case, ownership of the goods purchased is transferred to the owner. They are the ones that now handle the Maintainance of products and services that they have purchased.

In this case, too, customers take ownership of the maintenance of products and services purchased.

#2 Access to resources

Another aspect of service offering has to do with providing access to resources for customers. In this case, ownership of paid services is not transferred to customers. Also, access is granted under the agreed terms of services. Let’s say, for example, I paid for 10gig of data, once I finished that data, I will not be able to surf the web again.

#3 Service actions

This kind of service is performed by the service provider to address specific customers’ needs. This is performed according to the agreed terms by the customers. Take for example, if my vehicle has a technical fault and I decided that a mechanic should help me address that. That is a very good part of service actions.

Customer Journey Stages: Improving The Customer Experience

Today’s customers are in control of their experience.

This means businesses must be ready to meet them wherever they happen to be in their journey and help guide them along the path toward conversion and loyalty.

One of the best ways to do this is by mapping out your customer’s journey using the buyer’s funnel model, which categorizes your customers according to where they are on their journey.

The buyer’s funnel model involves five stages of buyer behaviour: awareness, interest, evaluation, purchase and repeats purchase/loyalty.

What is a Customer Journey Stage?

A customer journey stage is a way of thinking about how customers experience your brand. It may not be linear, but there are five main stages that all customers will go through as they interact with your brand.

The Five Customer Journey Stages are Awareness, Consideration, Purchase, Usage and Advocacy. Each stage has its own set of questions you can answer to better understand how well you’re meeting their needs in that stage.

For example, if you ask What does this company do? or What are my options? at the awareness stage then you’ll have people tell you what they know about your company or what other products might interest them. If you ask those same questions at consideration then people will be able to say why they’re considering one product over another and which features matter most to them.

Defining the Stages

There are five stages in the customer journey, which are discovery, evaluation, purchase, service and advocacy. These stages happen in a sequence but can overlap in some cases.

The first stage is discovery; this is when customers are looking for a solution. They may not be aware of what they want or where to find it.

The second stage is evaluation; this is when customers are deciding on what solution they want based on different factors such as price and quality.

The third stage is purchase; during this time, customers have made their decision about what product or service they will buy.

The fourth stage is service; during this time, the customer has already purchased their product and will contact you for help with questions about installation or support.

The fifth and final stage is advocacy; during this time, customers are telling others about their experience with your company through word-of-mouth marketing or social media channels.

The Importance of Defining Your Visitor Personas

Defining your visitor personas is one of the most important steps in your journey. Personas can help you craft a better customer experience by understanding who your visitors are and what they want.

Understanding the stages of your customers’ journeys will also help you determine how best to communicate with them during each stage. For example, someone who is just learning about your product may not be ready for sales or advertising but would enjoy reading blog posts and social media posts that provide helpful information.

The Importance of Visitor Intent

Visitor intent is a key component of customer journey mapping. When customers come to your site, they are in one of four phases: exploration, decision-making, purchase or post-purchase. These phases can be mapped out on a basic customer journey map that starts with visitor intent at the top left corner and ends with conversion at the bottom right. At every stage, there are specific questions you want to answer about how well you’re meeting their needs.

For example, during exploration when visitors are still trying to determine if they need your service or product, what information should you provide them? What kind of experiences should you create for them? Similarly, during post-purchase when people have just bought something from your company what is important then? What’s going through their mind? What do they need now?

Key Takeaways

The customer journey is a process that customers go through when interacting with your company. It consists of four stages: Awareness, Consideration, Purchase, and Loyalty.
– To map your customer journey, you must first identify the starting point for each stage in order to identify where you are today. -You need to know what your goal is for each stage in order to determine how you will measure success.

– Once you have identified your starting point, it’s time to get started! Map out where your customers currently are at each stage, as well as any strategies or initiatives you have put in place to improve the customer experience.

If there isn’t anything in place currently, take some time to brainstorm ideas on how to improve the situation before implementing them. Remember that all strategies should be grounded in data-driven insights from focus groups or surveys so they can be made as effective as possible.
